What is Rubber Safety Flooring?
Rubber flooring is a porous material made from various types of rubber granules including recycled and synthetic rubbers combined with a polyurethane resin to produce an impact-absorbant surface. Available as a wet pour continuous surface or as tiles, rubber flooring is suitable for commercial, public and domestic applications where a non-slip, cushioned surface is required.
Advantages of Rubber Flooring...
- Reduces the likelihood of injury due to fall
- Requires minimum maintenance unlike other surfaces and loose-fill products, requires a quick rinse with water once in a while.
- No hidden hazardous or dangerous material hidden under the surface making it safer and more hygienic than most other surfaces
- Visually attractive with large choice of permanent colours
- Anti-slip and anti-static surface
- Fully compliant with Australian Safety Standards (AS/NZS 4422:1996)
- Suitable for indoor and outdoor use
- Low heat absorbency, therefore great for bare feet
